Dale (m), __, a college freshman; Rupert/Roo (m), __, Dale's friend; Alexis (f), __, an English instructor; Marshall (m), __, an English instructor.
"Dale and Rupert (Roo), friends since boyhood, approach the end of their freshman year away at college. For Roo, it has been a year of indulging the appetites whetted by the first taste of freedom. For Dale, it is the year he meets Alexis, the woman who yanks the training wheels off of Love. The only problem is that she is his English instructor. Well . . . not the only problem . . . she lives with MARSHALL, who is Roo's English instructor. In his efforts to win Alexis, Dale has turned in a paper designed, presumably, to impress her with his worldly insight into literature. The only problem is that he didn't write it-Roo did. Well . . . not the ONLY problem-Roo has turned in the same paper to Marshall."
