• “Brad McEntire is a native-born Texan and semi-known as the Artistic Director of a small theatre outfit called Audacity Productions. He has been known to refer to himself as a multidisciplinary artist, which is high-falutin' slang for solo performer, improvisor, director, actor, playwright, designer, educator, theatre theorist, and on-again-off-again visual and video artist. He holds a B.F.A. in Theatre & Performance Arts from the College of Santa Fe out in beautiful New Mexico and an M.A. in Playwriting from TWU in Denton, Texas. He has taught various theatre arts-related courses at Richland Community College, Collin County Community College, Yavneh Jewish Academy of Dallas, RL Turner High School, Plano Repertory Theatre, The Dallas Theatre Center and Dramatic English in Hong Kong. He's had several of his plays produced locally (meaning around Dallas, Texas), as well as around the United States and one in Asia. McEntire is also an on-again-off-again ensemble member with Plano Children's Theatre's Professional Touring Series, a semi-active member of the DFW Playwright's Alliance, and was an Artistic Associate with the now-sadly-defunct Our Endeavors Theater Collective. McEntire's a founding writer/performer of several sketch/improv comedy troupes - Estranged Bedfellows (NM), Molotov Cockroach (NYC), The French Club Dropouts (TX), the recently defunct anarcho-theatrical performance group Mild Dementia, of which he served as Managing Director. He now performs occassionally in the comedy duo Fun Dip (Dallas). Mostly, McEntire busies himself with writing, drawing, and other unpaid artisitc services. And spreading the good word DRiBBLE FUNK. He is living, working and causing trouble in Hong Kong for most of 2006 and 2007.”—Dribble Funk: About Brad McEntire, http://www.dribblefunk.com/about.htm, accessed February 24, 2007.
