  § Dramatis Personae Amy (f), an employee; Beth (f), friend of Amy; Harriet (f), a betrayed wife; Gloria (f), the‘other’ woman.

  § Synopsis “Amy, devastated by the fact that the boss shehas a crushon has brought another woman to thecompany party, takes refuge in the powder room, accompanied by her friend Beth. There they meet Harriet, whose philanderinghusband has made her an old hand at hiding from parties. They get acquainted, tell stories, and eventually confront the ‘other’ woman, Gloria.  Bolstered by their newly foundcamaraderie, they decide to stop defining themselves by their relationships with men and strike out to spend the rest of the evening on their own, declaring no man is worth fighting for, even a boss with blue eyes that twinkle when he smiles.”
