Dramatis Personae Driver (m or f), Passenger (m or f),
Mechanic (m or f).
Synopsis “The Driver and Passenger are unable to determine
why the car has broken down. They call the Mechanic to fix it for them.
The Mechanic tries to warn them of long-term problems. The Passenger is
more concerned with getting a chance to drive, while the Driver uses that
hope to control the Passenger. They go on their way with a temporary patch.
Comment “The play is a satire on the American class system.”
