  §  Dramatis Personae George Shields (m); Henry (m), Helen’s husband and George’s neighbor; Helen (f), Henry’s wife and George’s neighbor; Lynch (m), mortgage company representative.

  §  Synopsis “George Shields is the careful type—so careful, in fact, that he’s been living in his backyard fallout shelter since the Cuban Missile Crisis, faithfully attended to by his loyal neighbors Henry and Helen. But Shields’s secure apocalyptic domesticity is threatened when Lynch, a mortgage company representative, arrives to repossess the property—including the bomb shelter.
