§ Dramatis
Personae Sir Cedric Prescott (m), 65, white-haired patriarch and pretender
to British aristocracy, father of Master Lawrence; James (m), loyal servant
of Sir Cedric.
§ Synopsis
“Sir Cedric has sent his faithful servant James on an errand to try to
find young Master Lawrence, his only son. It seems Master Lawrence
has gotten into the habit of taking mysterious nightly walks. Tomorrow
he's supposed to wed a mysterious young Rumanian princess, Princess Elizabeth.
And that marriage is the key to restoring the Prescott fortunes. But James
barges in, out of breath, with stories of werewolves on the property, and
suddenly all of Sir Cedric’s plans seem to be
going awry.
§ Comment
[June 18, 1996] “It might interest you to know that ‘Moonlight’s Little
Madness’ will be presented at the Theatre-Studio in New York this weekend-Friday
at 8:00 p.m., Saturday at 2:00 p.m., as part of their ongoing year-round
Playtime
series of one-acts. It was done at the Riant last August, and I’m
looking forward to this new production. James Fisher, the director, did
a wonderful job with ‘Dark Snow’ last December, so I have high hopes.”
Addendum 981117:
