§ Dramatis Personae Eddie
(m), an actor portraying a gangster, a tough customer; Lenny (m), the director
on the picture, also playing a gangster.
§ Synopsis “Lenny and Eddie,
a couple of actors, are trying to finish shooting a two-character film
noir scene on a Hollywood set, in which Eddie is putting the muscle on
his friend These guys are good friends off camera as well. Only Eddie is
busting his director-friend’s chops with interruptions. It is hard to tell
where noir leaves off and reality begins as they roll cameras, and Eddie
admits to Lenny he’s been fooling around with Eddie’s wife. The scene caves
in, and they break for lunch.
