§ Synopsis “The eighteen short vignettes parody short plays seen often in theatre festivals.

§ Comment “The eighteen scenes require some form of ending punctuation, possibly cued lighting or sound. Bare stage, minimum props and costumes, all contemporary dress. Minimum furniture, limited to chairs. The twenty-five parts originally called for six actors, but four actors (variable casting) could play them by simply working harder. The actors, paired, vary in ages from 25+ to 45+. Most skits require two characters; a few require three. At any one time, a maximum of four (or, if available, six) actors are on stage. No scene is longer than two minutes, and some are as short as a single spoken line”

§ Themes acting, change, creativity, identity, sexual politics, theatre.
