§  Synopsis “Gary’s evening seems to be going well when the gorgeous Kate agrees to go back to his apartment with him for a
nightcap—that is, until the arrival of Digger—Gary’s work colleague who has arranged to move in with Gary until he sorts his marriage out. Things get a little hectic when Gary realises that Kate is Digger’s wife and that he must stop them from seeing each other at all costs. The arrival of Claire—Gary’s wife—doesn’t help the situation, and Gary’s evening is fraught with comic confusion.

§  Comment “Will Gary manage to keep everyone apart and however did Claire manage to mistake Gary and Digger for gay lovers?  •  There are no scene changes and the action occurs within the same time-frame.  •  ‘Four Play’ was produced as part of a double-bill of one-act plays together with the prize-winning drama ‘Duplex’ in July 1998 at Rugby Theatre, Rugby, UK and in July, 2000, at Total Theatre, Halifax, UK, and is scheduled for production in Surrey, UK, in July or October 2001.  •  For other works by the same author visit http://website.lineone.net/~w1ldrover22/.”
