§ Synopsis “Two inept thieves try to steal the audience. An interview with the world’s expert on phlegm. An angry shock-jock receives his comeuppance from an unexpected source. A prostitute is forced into a life in the theater. The godfather discourses on plumbing. An amusement park that’s more of an ‘abusement’ park.
§Comment “‘Twinges from the Fringe’ is an evening of sixteen sketches, each with a peculiar bite. • Bob Jude Ferrante is a member of the Dramatists Guild and is Managing Director of NY Play Development, a free service organization for NYC-area playwrights. As a director, Mr. Ferrante oversaw the first US production of Edward Bond’s The Bundle (Kenyon College, 1981) and Mamta Landerman’s Life of Krishna (1983 Gandhi Festival, San Francisco CA), and several of his own plays.”
