  §  Synopsis “Jesse teaches a writing class through a community education program, and Hannah is one of her students. A potent and dangerous chemistry exists. Scene one is their discovery and choosing to be together. Scene two is the reality of having to let go.

 §  Comment “The beginning and the end of a beautiful love story between two women. Poetry is their vehicle of admission, then a closing page.  •  ‘Masquerade’ is a unit set production, with no special set or prop requirements.  •  This stand-alone one act was the seed for an oft-produced full-length play of the same title.”
