Synopsis
“A man in his 60s recounts the harrowing emotional experience of being
locked in the cellar of his suburban home by his wife during a snowstorm,
as a metaphor for the guilt he is feeling over her loss.

Comment
“Here at last is a deeply-moving, nice little soliloquy that's perfect
for high school drama students. It's only five minutes long. I had
toyed with expanding it, but the sentiments are heartfelt and deep here,
and it won't require killer memorization if it comes to that. Hey,
I tried. Yes, a Freudian's delight. And I'm working on another piece for
two girls, high school age. ”
