§ Dramatis Persona Keith (m), 45, musician, manic depressive.

§ Synopsis “Keith plays music in a LA cafe where Erica works. Erica, sixteen, paints fairies and witches and has an art show. Keith uses one of her paintings for the cover of his CD, and Erica designs the artwork. Keith describes how in Erica's artwork of painted fairies and witches, he relives the hell he’s been through in his manic depressive life, to find the wonderland of her painted fairies.

§ Comment “One scene, musical, simple bare stage. • Keith Hemmerling will self-publish 'Walkin on the Wild Side' through Xlibris Corporation in 2005 in the anthology Walkin on the Wild Side. • Keith, a member of the State Bar of California, has written two books, Manic Impression (New York: Xlibris Corporation, 2003), ISBN 1413401805, and Whorehound (New York: Xlibris Corporation, 2004), ISBN 141343889X. In 2003 under his aegis, The Hemmerling Foundation partially-underwrote West 47th Street (LCM)-PBS, which received reviews like "Must-see TV," Newsweek; "Editor's Choice," TV Guide; 'Remarkable," The Washington Post. Also, The Hemmerling Foundation partially-underwrote (with Nilsson) Scheme C6, Noise, and Attitude, the last of which played nationally and worldwide. Attitude in its New York City premiere made the front page of The New York Times and received strong reviews from The Village Voice, Res, TV Guide Online Movie Section, Film Festival, and Today. Keith says, "Attitude features my acting and music. I play a homeless, psychotic musician living in a landfill who thinks he is Jesus. PDP Productions is about to release Marbles (featuring my acting and music), and High Hopes (about autism). Additionally, I envision completion of The Marbles Trilogy featuring my acting and music, as well as many more films from PDP!'"
