§ Dramatis Personae Dexter (m), 40, a librarian; Bella (f), 35, a research-assistant, sexy.
§ Synopsis “Dexter is a very committed librarian who is working late at the library. Bella, artsy in black except for a smashing green scarf, wants to take out some books. She is the research assistant for Professor Immenso or claims to be. She has no ID of her own, only Professor Immenso’s ID (which could have been stolen). Dexter is too good a librarian to allow such irregularities. However, Immenso is an important man, Bella is hypnotically persuasive, and the books she wishes to borrow include The Green Angel, a seminal cult favorite special to those who know, including Dexter! Can he break library rules? What is it in Bella that tempts him so?
§ Comment “Librarian’s desk needed; a green scarf for Bella; nerd clothes for Dexter, some books.” • Joe Lauinger’s Curriculum Vitae: B.A. University of Pennsylvania (summa cum laude), M.A. Oxford University, M.A. Princeton Princeton University, Ph.D., Princeton University.
