  §  Dramatis Personae John (m), 25-50, Francine’s significant other; Francine (f), 25-50, John’s significant other.

  §  Synopsis “A couple running from a forest fire stop to rest in a clearing. They are completely surrounded and certain they are about to die. Francine, who started the fire, insists that they talk about the relationship. John, reluctantly agrees. As they argue through Francine’s insecurity and John’s inability to express emotion, they finally come to some sort of resolution between them. At this point, Francine’s watch alarm goes off, and we discover that this is an infomercial for Dr. Freudinger’s new book, Till Death Us Do Part, Do-It Yourself Self-Help for Couples in a Hurry. Mention this play for a dollar off your second copy; on sale now in the lobby of this theatre.
