§ Synopsis “Two phonies get ready for their first date not realizing that in trying to kid each other about their ages and identities they are actually only fooling themselves. After the layers of makeup, they meet and see themselves in each other.

§ Comment “This comedy takes on very serious undertones, as we see their true selves from behind the characters’ makeup that they are applying. I am also the author of eleven other one-act plays and eight full-length. A listing of my other plays is available. I am a member of the Dramatists Guild of America as well as of the Philadelphia Dramatists Center and a participating playwright at the Brick Playhouse in Philadelphia.” • Joseph M.
