Dramatis Personae George (m), Preachin' Pearl (f).
Synopsis "A homeless street preacher refuses the donation from a lottery winner. George Williams waits at a downtown bus stop after leaving his car for repairs. He meets Preachin' Pearl, a homeless woman who stands downtown evangelizing to the passing masses. Although her efforts are enthusiastic, her knowledge is lacking. As she mis-spouts from her Bible ("Blessed are those with pacemakers for their hearts shall be filled with power"), she honors the poor and begins a tirade against George, a lottery winner, who offered her a $100 donation. She scorns his generosity as filthy lucre and a guilt offering. With the intervention of passing traffic, George gets the opportunity to show Pearl his motives are as sincere as hers."
