§ Synopsis “Laurena rushes onto bare stage in nightgown amid airport noises. The Voice states that she must hurry to leave. She argues to take along just one carryon. What would be that one thing begins a debate with the voice. Laurena’s grasp loosens as she begins the transition from reality to unreality.
§ Comment “Your last flight—what would you want to carry-on? A simple play with layers of meaning, eliciting various personal reactions. A very portable play. • Premiered at University of Maine, playwriting contest winner, 2000.”
